Barcelona Black and White. 35 mm
2014. A trip through Europe for a few months ending with 20 days in Barcelona. The camera on the chest, some women looking at something very high, only one looks at me. A typical street in Barcelona. Nano, a great friend who lives there, took us to an almost inaccessible part of Park Güell, crossing some fences and climbing some stones. We sat down to watch the sun go down playing the guitar. Two old men looking at pigeons, I like to think of the contrast between the speed of the one who observes and the one who acts (pigeons). An old woman playing with a stone. Modernity, a kiss, a severed head, lines. El Raval in analog and black and white can look 100 years older. All works available for sale.
