Nirvana — Kid Issues
Nirvana deluxe edition album. The main axis of the project was choosing a band or musician that meant a lot to one, and make a tribute album with a specific theme.
I chose 5 songs where adolescent angst at school was reflected: Dumb — Smells like teen spirit — Come as you are — Heart shaped box — School. My goal was to find a balance between grunge and perfectly designed aesthetic, revealing adolescent anger throughout handwritten fonts, ripped pages, pixelated scans and vibrant colors.
